For seven years we have rented out the apartment in our basement and we’ve had lots of wonderful tenants. But when our most recent renter told us she’d be moving out in November, my husband and I decided it was time…

It’s long been a dream of mine to set up a real art studio, with room for students, painting parties, and my own work. This quiet little spot, along the edge of the woods with the sound of Stony Run Creek as background music, will be a place where I can encourage others (children AND adults!) to explore the joys of making art.  

We will have room for supplies and storage for you to keep your projects, running water, and a bathroom! We even plan to furnish the bedroom to serve as a overnight getaway for artists who need a retreat so they can focus on creative projects.

But I need your help. Your pledges will be used to purchase table-top easels, supplemental lighting, paints and paint brushes for students and painting parties, canvases and paper. The rewards you receive will be a fair exchange for the investment you make to help me get the studio up and running. 

I want this to be a place full of color and life and laughter. Do you need a place like this as much as I do?
