Hi! My name is Liz and it’s my pleasure to introduce Modern Maestro, Inc. to the world! 

Music is a special gift and I’ve always wanted to share that gift. In 2007 I became an instrumental music teacher in Maryland and taught elementary band and orchestra. I loved my kids and I loved teaching. But there were challenges with making sure my kids had the resources they needed to be successful. 

In my fifth year of teaching I dreamed of Modern Maestro – a place where students could take advantage of everything that music had to offer. Not just playing in a band, an orchestra, or singing in a choir, but a place where they could learn how to be a DJ, an audio engineer, or a producer. 

Why this project matters: Music is important and Modern Maestro, Inc. believes every student should have the opportunity to flourish and thrive in the arts.  Our goal is to facilitate holistic, meaningful, and enriching music engagement opportunities to students.  Modern Maestro, Inc. is a place where students can learn, grow, and be their most authentic musical selves.
